Lipton, Weinberger & Husick

Robert J. Yarbrough has practiced law for forty years. He is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and holds a degree in mechanical engineering. He is a partner in Lipton, Weinberger & Husick. Mr. Yarbrough also is an environmental attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. In environmental matters, he is counsel to Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP, a firm of over six hundred lawyers with offices in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Princeton, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Mr. Yarbrough worked in the Environmental Practice Group of Drinker, Biddle & Reath from 1996 until 1998 and in the environmental department of Cohen, Shapiro, Polisher, Shiekman & Cohen, a Philadelphia regional firm, from 1989 through 1995. He enforced environmental laws for the Commonwealth of Kentucky from 1977 through 1988.
 
Mr. Yarbrough is Chairman of the Pennsylvania Intellectual Property Forum (1998 - 2009). The Pennsylvania Intellectual Property Forum advocates for individual inventors and small businesses. Mr. Yarbrough is past Chairman of the Delaware County Bar Association Intellectual Property Committee (2002) and past Legislation Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Environmental Law Committee (2000-2001). He is a frequent author and presenter on intellectual property topics.
