Jay, who is Of Counsel to the Firm, is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition issues. He represents companies of all sizes in a wide variety of fields and industries. He serves as trial counsel when litigation is necessary. While most of his cases are located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he has been admitted on a pro hac vice basis in courts across the country.
Jay has three decades of litigation experience, spending several years as an attorney at the largest law firm in New Jersey and then at a Philadelphia-based firm with a national intellectual property litigation practice. This background, which includes the defense of hundreds of personal injury cases and commercial litigation matters, provides him with a unique perspective on intellectual property disputes.
